Cookie policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
We use a few essential cookies to run the site. Anything beyond that — analytics and affiliate cookies — loads only if you consent in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can at any time.
1. Strictly necessary (no consent needed)
- Sign-in / session cookies (only if you have an account) — keep you logged in securely. They hold a session token, not your personal details.
- Plan cookie — remembers a subscription/demo plan selection.
- Consent choice — we store your cookie choice (in your browser) so we don't ask again.
2. Functional attribution (set only if you follow a link)
- Referral & partner cookies (
dc_ref,dc_tp) — set for 30 days only when you arrive via a referral or partner link, so the referrer is credited if you later sign up or book.
3. Analytics — consent required
- Google Analytics 4 — helps us understand which events and pages are useful. Sets Google's analytics cookies. Loads only after you accept.
- First-party page-view count — a same-origin beacon that records the page path and referrer. No third-party cookie; used for aggregate traffic only.
4. Marketing / affiliate — consent required
- Travelpayouts — affiliate/partner tracking that helps support the platform. Loads only after you accept.
Third-party content
Some features load content from third parties; your browser contacts their servers:
- Geoapify / OpenStreetMap / CARTO — map tiles (see your IP, as any image host does).
- Open-Meteo — weather chips (receives only a city's coordinates; no cookies, no account data).
- Spotify — embedded playlists; Spotify may set its own cookies inside the player, especially if you're logged into Spotify.
Local storage (stays on your device)
Your circuits, saved events, Going choices and filters are kept in your browser's local storage (keys starting with dc). This isn't transmitted to our servers while you're signed out — clearing your browser data removes it.
Managing cookies
Use the banner to accept all or keep only necessary, and whenever you like. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie just means you can't stay logged in; browsing, search and the map keep working. More about your data: privacy policy.
