Cookie policy
Last updated: 12 June 2026
Short version: we use no advertising or tracking cookies. Everything we store in your browser exists to make the site work, and most of it never leaves your device.
Cookies we set
- Sign-in cookies (only if you create an account) — keep you logged in securely. Strictly necessary; they contain a session token, not your personal details.
- Plan cookie — remembers a subscription/demo plan selection. Strictly functional.
Because these are strictly necessary for features you actively use, no consent banner is required for them under the ePrivacy rules — which is why we don't nag you with one.
Local storage (stays on your device)
Your circuits, saved events, “going” choices and filter preferences are kept in your browser's local storage (keys starting with dc.). This data is not transmitted to our servers while you're signed out — clearing your browser data removes it.
Third-party content
Some features load content from third parties; your browser contacts their servers:
- OpenStreetMap — map tiles on map pages (sees your IP, as any image host does).
- Open-Meteo — weather chips (receives only the coordinates of the event's city; no cookies, no account data).
- Spotify — embedded playlists. Spotify may set its own cookies inside the player iframe, particularly if you're logged in to Spotify. See Spotify's cookie policy for how they handle this.
What we don't do
- No advertising networks, no cross-site tracking pixels.
- No selling or sharing of browsing data.
- No fingerprinting.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the sign-in cookie simply means you can't stay logged in; browsing, search and the map keep working. More about your data: privacy policy.
